Sen—When it comes to planning for a one-year mission to the International Space Station, it appears the Expedition 45 crew is prepared to use The Force.

A new poster released by NASA shows the astronauts sporting Jedi robes, carrying lightsabers and making other references to the famed Star Wars franchise. The series was launched in the 1970s and recently received new life when Disney committed to a series of new movies.

Among the members of Expedition 45 is Scott Kelly, one of two people who will form the first one-year crew on the ISS. The focus of the mission is serious; NASA wants to prepare for an eventual manned mission to Mars by better understanding the health effects of microgravity on astronauts.

That said, the agency does encourage its astronauts to have some fun while preparing for their missions. Many space station crews of the past few years have parodied movies and even the Beatles while getting ready for their missions.

Below you can see a few posters. More are available on NASA's website.
