Grail probes will look inside the Moon

Two spacecraft the size of washing machines will finally go into orbit around the Moon over New Year's weekend after a journey that began when they were launched from Florida in September. The near-identical Grail probes will measure variations in the Moon's gravity to help tell what lies beneath its surface right down to the core.
