Meg Schwamb
Planetary Systems
Meg Schwamb is a planetary scientist and astronomer currently based in Taipei, Taiwan at the Institute of Astronomy & Astrophysics at Academia Sinica. Her research focuses on how solar systems form and evolve by studying planets and their building blocks. In her work she explores the small bodies residing in the outer Solar System, discovers and and characterizes exoplanets, and dabbles in the study of the Martian climate. In addition, Meg utilizes citizen science as a tool to mine large astronomical and planetary datasets. She is a founding member of the science teams involved in the Planet Four and Planet Hunters online citizen science projects. Meg started blogging for Sen in January 2015
