Sen—The International Space Station (ISS) orbits the Earth at about 17,500 mph roughly 250 miles (400km) above the Earth’s surface and is almost the size of two football pitches. It’s an orbital laboratory exploring the possibilities of science, technology and the future of the human race in space. It is probably man's greatest achievement after the Moon landings.
