Srinivas Laxman
Indian Space
Srinivas Laxman is a space journalist and has worked for India’s leading national daily, Times of India, in Mumbai. He has covered a number of rocket launches at Sriharikota, India’s main rocket launching centre. He has interacted frequently with India’s top space leaders and interviewed astronauts including India’s first spaceman, Rakesh Sharma, the late Neil Armstrong and the last man on the Moon, Eugene Cernan. Srinivas has authored four books: Dreams To Reality: A biography of APJ Abdul Kalam; Moonshot India, the story about India’s Mission To the Moon; Mars Beckons India: The Story about India’s Mission to Mars which focusses entirely on the pre-launch aspects and the Indian Martian Odyssey, which deals with with post-launch aspects.
